Join a unique journey to the COP30 !

In 2025, the COP30 Bike Ride will unite passionate adventurers from across the globe as they journey by bicycle and sailboat to the Amazonian city of Belém, Brazil, the host of COP30, that will start on November 10th. Join them for a day or more on their way to the COP30 and make CAP GEMINI shine by your physical contribution to this amazing initiative.

This extraordinary event is more than a test of endurance—it’s a powerful call for bold climate action, sustainable travel, and global solidarity.

A long distance ride for the climate !

With a main start point from Baku the site of the previous COP, the ride will feature multiple starting points across continents, including Europe, Central Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Participants will carry, as an olympic flame, a symbolic banner and navigate diverse terrains, from urban centers to remote regions, and sail across open waters to reach their destinations. Given the unique distance and number of cyclists, this ride is attempting no less than three Guinness records !

What it takes to become a COP30 bike rider

First and foremost the right mindset ! You can join for a day or more depending on your appetite. Distances covered per day are rather short (50-60km depending on elevation - see detailed table) You only need a bicycle, electric or simply muscular, some camping equipment if you want to cycle for more than a day and wish to camp instead of sleep indoors. You can of course plan for a pic-nic but food can also be bought daily during a brief morning stop. Plan for water in case none can be found on the way. A specific rider guide will be provided to you upon registration.
