Our end-goal is advocating for the integration of cycling in the plans of the participating countries at COP (the NDCs)
Here are pictures of our many actions undertaken at the COP30 in Belém Brazil.
If you want to dive deeper about our plea and actions, please check this complete pdf
➡ COP30 Week 1 🚲
✅ The first cyclists arrived on time in Belém, by bike, from French Guyana and from the various Brazilian branches, and by boat, to start meetings and interviews at COP30 🤩
Overall, the COP30 Bike Ride was represented in Belém by 9 cyclists: 3 from 2 European countries, 2 from Brazil and 4 from 3 African countries! All banners from Eurasia, South America and Africa were united! And the painting which was made and split symbolically in France during the ride was reunified 🤩
➡ We met with several stakeholders to :
- Present our ten proposals on cycling policies.
- Understand their current stance relative to cycling policies.
- Plea for systematic integration of cycling in transport policies, whether at COP (NDCs) or national level.

A few days after the start of the COP, in front of the sailboat Avontuur with 2 banners: the main one which traveled all the way from the border of Azerbaijan 🥳, and the Northern European branch banner. Time to be united as a team!
